Jess originally joined our office as a Paralegal assisting the Wills & Estates and General Litigation team. Since graduating at the end of 2023, she is now one of our Commercial Litigation solicitors.
After many years in the hospitality industry and experiencing life as a restaurant manager and Wedding/Events Coordinator, Jess decided to follow her teenage aspiration and go back to University and study law. With an undergraduate Business Degree, Jess was able to enrol in the Juris Doctor program at the University of Newcastle. Throughout her studies, she worked in the Aged Care Industry where her primary role was in Administration and as a Family Liaison. This is where her passion for helping more vulnerable members of the community was truly formed.
Since graduating Jess has found the variety of work that commercial litigation provides has given her the ability to help a range of clients with a range of legal issues that may arise in their personal or business lives.
Outside of work, you will find Jess experimenting in the kitchen, tasting her way through red wine varietals, reading British crime thrillers and spending quality time with family and friends.
