About Ebony

Ebony Bell holds the position of Senior Associate and has a particular interest in medical negligence and health law. She has practiced exclusively in medical negligence since her admission as a lawyer in 2019.

Ebony holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Newcastle.

Ebony has gained experience working at a national personal injury law firm in Sydney, working predominately on one of the largest women’s health class actions in Australia. Ebony has also gained experience working on matters involving catastrophic brain injuries, psychiatric injuries, orthopaedic injuries, and cosmetic injuries.

Prior to her admission as a lawyer, Ebony worked as a paralegal for 4 years with experience at a boutique medical negligence firm in Newcastle and a boutique firm in Scone, NSW. Having grown up in rural NSW, Ebony has a unique understanding of the issues that can arise in rural healthcare settings.

I feel privileged to be in a position where I can help my clients find answers as to what went wrong, effect change in the healthcare system and improve lives by obtaining the best possible outcomes. I always take the time to listen to my clients and understand how I can best advocate for and support them throughout the legal process.
